Q. Does PocketPhilanthropist, Inc. earn a profit from my donation? Or will my whole donation amount reach the charity or project I wish to support?
A. PocketPhilanthropist, Inc. is a non-profit, and therefore does not keep a portion of any donation for a profit. Yet as a philanthropist you should understand how non-profits operate. A small percentage of donations are usually kept to cover part of the operational costs necessary to run a non-profit organization. It is rare to find a non-profit running entirely on Government or Private grant money or the money of its owners. What is more important is for you to be an educated philanthropist and learn how much of your donation will reach the project you intended it for, and how much will be used for Administrative Costs.
